Ready for another stage.
Ballroom, Latin, jazz and contemporary costumes from dancers across the US. Every listing shows real measurements, so you can shop by fit instead of by size label. You buy directly from the dancer.
Turn last season's costume into someone's dream costume.
List your costume for a one-time post fee. No commission: buyers pay you directly and you keep every dollar.
Five steps
- Fill in the form: photos, style, measurements, price and how buyers can reach you.
- Pay the $35 post fee by card at the end of the form.
- We check your listing, usually within a day, and it goes live.
- Buyers contact you directly. Accept payment only by PayPal Goods & Services.
- Ship within 3 business days with tracking, then message us so we can mark it sold.
Before you start
- Take 4–6 daylight photos: front, back, a close-up of the stonework, and any flaws.
- Each photo must be under 10 MB. Phone photos usually are.
- Measure the costume itself: bust, waist, hips, and girth for leotard-style costumes.
- Describe every flaw honestly. Buyers trust it, and it prevents disputes.
By listing, you agree to the seller rules shown in the form.
How to buy safely
- Pay only by PayPal Goods & Services. It protects you if the costume doesn't arrive or isn't as described.
- Never pay by Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, wire transfer, gift card or PayPal Friends & Family. A seller who insists on these is a red flag.
- Ask for extra photos or a short video before you pay, especially of any flaws.
- Check every measurement. Most costumes are one of a kind and sold as is.
- Ask for the tracking number once it ships.
Who you're buying from
Costumes are listed by independent dancers and families. You contact the seller and pay them directly. Dance Costumes for Sale reviews every listing before it goes live, but isn't a party to the sale and doesn't hold payments or issue refunds.
If something goes wrong, open a claim with PayPal Goods & Services and tell us, so we can review the seller.

Every costume has more than one performance in it.
Dance Costumes for Sale is where dancers across the US list new and pre-loved costumes: ballroom gowns, Latin and rhythm dresses, jazz and contemporary costumes, and practice wear.
Custom competition costumes can cost thousands of dollars, and many are outgrown after a single season. We help them find their next stage, and help dancers find a beautiful costume at a fraction of the original price.
Every listing shows real photos and measurements, and you buy directly from the dancer, with no middleman fees on the price.
